Deputy Chief Mark Malloy, August 25

A first alarm was dispatched 17:37 hrs
for a structure fire on the 2300 block of Gallitzin/Coupon Rd, Gallitzin Twp District 71.
Rescue, Truck and Engine 60 all responded on the alarm with a total of 18 firefighters
The building was originally part of the former Forest Zoo complex and had been converted to a cattle barn by the current owners.

A 1st alarm was dispatched at 05:06 hrs Saturday morning for a house fire on the 700 block of Dysart Dr in Clearfield Twp.

1st arriving Truck and Rescue 60 knew the address to be that of our own Brother, Pat Kensinger. Pat has been a member of the 60 House, since being rescued by Ashville firefighters in a farming accident in 1991. He’s been confined to a wheelchair from that incident, however he’s ... Lieutenant Nathan Bem, January 28

A 1st alarm was dispatched at 12:28 this afternoon for a commercial structure fire on the 500 block of 5th Ave in Patton Borough.
Sending Rescue 60 with the Rapid Intervention Team and Truck 60 as the 2nd due truck, assisting Station 62.
On scene firefighters encountered a fire in a mechanic shop on the ground floor rapidly extending to the upper floors all being driven by high winds.

We would like to thank the Community Foundations for the Alleghenies for giving us a partial grant. This grant enabled us to purchase new heated LED headlights for both Truck 60 and Rescue/Engine 60.
