| “Acquired Structure Burn”
Today our members completed a 16 hour structural burn class along with firefighters from Gallitzin, Loretto and Keystone Regional.
Conducted by the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, our people braved temperatures near zero as the day began.
Working in 3 man teams, with 6 assignments per evolution, we managed to complete 24 different fires throughout the day.
This training is invaluable to us as we hone our skills and preparation for just such an emergency.
