| After several years of trying, we are pleased to announce we were successful in securing a 2024 AFG grant (Assistance to Firefighters Grant) from FEMA.
The Grant in the amount of $114.000.00. This comprised of 86% of the funds needed to purchase 25 sets of turnout gear at a total cost of $131.200.00.
This will outfit 25 firefighters with new coat, pants, boots, gloves, hoods, and helmets.
This gear is critical to our mission of protecting lives and property and costs approximately $5,300.00 a set. Which only has a life span of 10 years service. |
