“Storm Havoc”

Several storms tore through the area Saturday afternoon.
Reaping havoc across our coverage area.
Our Volunteers were dispatched to 14 alarms in just over 5 hours spanning Allegheny, Clearfield, Dean and Gallitzin Twp’s along with calls in Ashville and Patton Boroughs.
The calls included a transformer fire, several sheared utility poles with live wires down, 2 structure fires, a number of trees down along with a displaced roof on the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Working hand in hand with our Brothers from Patton, utilizing both ladder trucks, our firefighters were able to secure the loose roof components, and covered the damaged portions with reinforced plastic to prevent further damage to the interior of the church.
